Character Creation

Before you start to play the game, you must have an approved character.

You have a choice in this matter; you can either create a whole new character, or you can take one of the pre-made characters. For a listing of the pre-mades, see the link to your right.

If you're wanting to make an entirely new character you are welcome to do so, but make sure it fits in with those who are already being played. To get the most interaction in such a list, it often helps to start off as part of the main group, and then branch outwards to introduce new characters/personas to the game. For instance, the main characters of this list to begin with are the Withingtons who live in Hereford. If you're wanting to interact with them, you might want to consider being a neighbour on a nearby property rather than, say counties away on the south coast of England.

Once you have thought of your character, copy and fill out the bio attributes below into an email and send it to me. I will approve you or make suggestions for the character (and then approve you) and you can join the role-play in the Yahoo Groups list. I would like the bios to be fairly detailed - so as to give other prospective players a chance to perhaps develope a character that might have a little social history with yours to enable easier interaction.

Please remember that there are numerous opportunities for various characters - there's servants, clergy, nobility, gentry, common folk, military men, naval men, men and women of ill repute - the posibilities for interaction are limitless.
